About My Work

These days, I’m fortunate to be able to move my body. I have true rest and zero expectations, I move with generosity. I think there is always something new to learn about with our body. I always strive to learn and develop my creative style and voice, approaching every challenge I come across as an experience to grow and develop as a dancer/artist/friend/daughter/being. My childhood is where I draw inspiration from. I think memory is one of the best tools when creating, tapping into the things you know well or remember vividly. Every detail. There are three major processes involved in memory: encoding, storage, and retrieval. Human memory involves the ability to both preserve and recover information we have learned or experienced. Memory has a fundamental role in life, reflecting the past as the past, and offering the possibility of reusing all past and present experiences, as well as helping to ensure continuity between what was and what was or is going to be. I believe memory holds so much weight and value due to its fragileness.

The fragile power of memory.

Memory isn't certain at times, memory can be lost or misinterpreted. Memory lives within us and has the ability to transfer to others in many languages and through time.
